Long before it had a name, Naal lived in warm coastal summers, faded notebook doodles, and memories shaped by Karwar and Goa. As a child, our founder found herself drawing coconut trees on every page — not knowing that one day, this familiar form would become her emblem of stillness, strength, and home.
Naal, meaning coconut in Konkani, was born not in a boardroom, but under the sun-drenched eaves of tradition, craft, and lived moments. Resilient, familiar, and deeply rooted in everyday life, the coconut reflects how we think about design — adaptable, generous, and quietly enduring.
It is ordinary, yet essential. Much like the pieces we create.

Naal began with a simple purpose — to create clothing that feels like a soft exhale.
Pieces that don’t chase trends, but walk alongside you. Pieces that move with you — from slow mornings to festive evenings, from barefoot rituals to seaside getaways.

At Naal, we design clothing, accessories, and home pieces meant for everyday living.
Our collections are small-batch and thoughtfully considered, shaped by season, mood, and versatility. Each piece is designed to be worn often, styled intuitively, and lived in fully. Nothing here is made for one moment. Everything here is made to stay.
OUR APPROACH
Founded in 2022, Naal works slowly and deliberately.
We produce in limited quantities, often repurposing fabrics from earlier collections, and design with longevity in mind — both in construction and in feeling. Sustainability, for us, is not a statement. It is a practice — quiet, evolving, and intentional.

“I’ve always been drawn to the in-between moments — the pause between destinations, the comfort of familiar places, the beauty of things that don’t ask for attention.”
I grew up between Karwar and Goa, where clothing was practical yet personal, and homes were shaped by light, air, and everyday ritual.
As a designer, I wanted to create pieces that feel grounded — clothing and home that support daily life rather than perform for it. Pieces that feel considered, comfortable, and quietly confident.
Naal is my way of designing with care, memory, and intention — and of slowing down, even briefly, in a fast-moving world.

Alongside ready-to-wear, Naal offers a limited custom-made service.
This allows for deeper collaboration, thoughtful design, and pieces that feel deeply personal. Custom-made remains intentionally selective, approached with the same care and pace as everything else we do.
